The Digital Marketing Executive/Manager in the pharmaceutical industry is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital campaigns to increase brand awareness, engage healthcare professionals (HCPs), and support product launches. This role ensures that all marketing activities comply with regulatory and ethical standards while leveraging digital platforms effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for pharmaceutical brands, targeting healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders.
  2. Manage company websites, landing pages, SEO/SEM, and digital content to drive traffic and engagement.
  3. Plan and run campaigns across digital channels including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, email marketing, and programmatic advertising.
  4. Collaborate with medical, regulatory, and legal teams to ensure all content complies with industry standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, MDA, NPRA).
  5. Develop content calendars and coordinate the creation of educational, promotional, or compliance-based materials.
  6. Analyze campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and social media insights.
  7. Support virtual events, webinars, and e-detailing platforms aimed at healthcare providers.
  8. Manage digital budgets and optimize spend based on performance metrics.
  9. Work closely with sales teams to align digital efforts with field force initiatives.
