Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Act as the main point of contact for guests’ requests, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction through constant floor presence and staff support.
Supervise and support front office, housekeeping, F&B, and other departments as needed.
Conduct property walks to monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards.
Coordinate with departments to manage VIP arrivals, special requests, and group check-ins/check-outs.
Handle emergencies and incidents calmly and professionally, following hotel protocols.
Assist in managing room inventory, rate availability, and overbooking situations.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, health & safety regulations, and brand standards.
Prepare duty manager reports highlighting key issues, guest feedback, and operational concerns.
Train, guide, and motivate team members to deliver consistent quality service.
Take charge of the property in the absence of senior management.
Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and audit processes at the front desk.
Monitor staff performance and assist in performance reviews or disciplinary actions as needed.
Foster a positive work environment and uphold the hotel’s image and values at all times.
