  • Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Act as the main point of contact for guests’ requests, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction through constant floor presence and staff support.
  • Supervise and support front office, housekeeping, F&B, and other departments as needed.
  • Conduct property walks to monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards.
  • Coordinate with departments to manage VIP arrivals, special requests, and group check-ins/check-outs.
  • Handle emergencies and incidents calmly and professionally, following hotel protocols.
  • Assist in managing room inventory, rate availability, and overbooking situations.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, health & safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Prepare duty manager reports highlighting key issues, guest feedback, and operational concerns.
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to deliver consistent quality service.
  • Take charge of the property in the absence of senior management.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and audit processes at the front desk.
  • Monitor staff performance and assist in performance reviews or disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Foster a positive work environment and uphold the hotel’s image and values at all times.
