Lead and manage the overall housekeeping operations, including rooms, public areas, and laundry.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the hotel.
Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and schedules.
Supervise, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff performance.
Coordinate with the front office to manage room status and prioritize cleaning.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities; manage procurement and budget.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and laundry operations.
Handle guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Prepare reports, including room status, occupancy, staff productivity, and cost control.
Organize periodic deep cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork within the department.
Report and follow up on maintenance issues with the engineering department.
Support sustainability efforts, including linen reuse programs and chemical usage control.
