Job Description

The Assistant Manager supports department heads in supervising daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring task execution aligns with company goals. This role plays a key part in coordinating staff, solving operational issues, and reporting to upper management.

 

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing a team of staff to ensure smooth operations

Coordinate workflow, task assignments, and resource scheduling

Monitor staff performance and support on-the-job guidance

Prepare operational reports, meeting summaries, and progress updates

Liaise between management and staff to ensure effective communication

Support implementation of SOPs, administrative systems, and policies

Assist in solving day-to-day problems related to operations or client service

Ensure team adherence to deadlines and quality expectations

Perform duties as delegated by department managers

 

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, HR, or relevant field

Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, supervision, or administrative coordination

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Responsible, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
